The Lighthouse Keeper's Cat — printable bedtime picture book (ages 2-5)

High on a calm cliff the lighthouse lamp turns slow, and the keeper's cat begins her walk down the spiral stair — one step… down… and dim. Past Olive the owl in the window, past two drifting fish and one small crab tucking in his claws, she pads lower and lower while the beam grows softer, until even the Moon pulls a cloud to his chin. Every page repeats one gentle rhythm and slows it a little more, with soft breathe-in, breathe-out cues at the end. A calming wind-down story for ages 2–5, made for the last few minutes before sleep.
