Clouds over the Orchard — printable bedtime picture book (ages 2-5)
A slow-and-sleepy bedtime story. In the orchard, the apples swing softly in the evening air. A small grey cloud floats over the first tree. One cloud… one tree…
When the soft moon rises over the orchard, a little cloud begins to drift — one cloud… one tree… still. Tree by tree, the swinging apples settle, and Pip the rabbit, Rusty the fox and Hazel the owl grow slower and slower, until even the Moon closes his eyes. Every page repeats one gentle rhythm and slows it a little more, with soft breathe-in, breathe-out cues along the way. A calming wind-down story for ages 2–5, made for the last few minutes before sleep.
